High-Performance Solvent-Free Dispersion Primer

Primer Clear is a high-performance, solvent-free, water-based dispersion primer designed to improve adhesion between substrates and subsequent levelling compounds, waterproofing membranes, adhesives and floor preparation systems.

Formulated to regulate substrate absorbency and enhance bond strength, Primer Clear penetrates absorbent surfaces and helps create a stable, uniform base for subsequent applications. Its solvent-free formulation provides a reliable solution for preparing substrates before the installation of compatible flooring and waterproofing systems.

Suitable for residential and commercial applications, Primer Clear can be applied to properly prepared concrete, sand-cement screeds, cement renders, fibre-cement sheeting and existing levelling compounds. It is also suitable for approved dense and low-absorbency substrates, including mechanically prepared power-trowelled concrete and compatible bonded coatings.

Suitable for internal and external use, Primer Clear is diluted with clean water at a standard ratio of 1:1 and can be applied by roller, broom, brush or spray. Highly porous substrates may require additional coats to achieve consistent surface coverage.

Touch dry in approximately 15–20 minutes, Primer Clear allows subsequent levelling compounds and compatible waterproofing membranes to be applied after approximately 1–3 hours at 20°C under standard conditions.

Drying times and coverage depend on substrate absorbency, surface condition, temperature and humidity. Substrates must be clean, sound and dry before application. Primer Clear is not a waterproofing membrane or moisture-vapour barrier.
