Keraprime Ready

Ready-to-Use Primer

Keraprime Ready is a ready-to-use, water-based primer designed to regulate the absorption of porous substrates and improve adhesion before the application of self-levelling compounds, cement-based adhesives and renders.

Supplied pre-diluted at working strength, Keraprime Ready eliminates the need for mixing or measuring water, providing a convenient, consistent solution for substrate preparation. Its formulation helps bind loose surface dust and control excessive absorption, creating a more uniform surface for subsequent applications.

Suitable for residential and commercial applications, Keraprime Ready can be applied to properly prepared concrete, cement screeds, mortar beds, cement-based renders and other absorbent substrates. It is designed specifically for porous surfaces and is not suitable for non-absorbent or sealed substrates.

Suitable for internal and external use, Keraprime Ready is easily applied by roller or brush, providing even coverage with minimal preparation. Highly porous or dusty substrates may require a second coat to achieve the desired surface condition.

Fast drying in approximately 30–60 minutes under standard conditions, Keraprime Ready allows subsequent materials to be installed efficiently, with an overlay window of up to 48 hours.

Drying times and coverage depend on substrate porosity, surface texture, temperature, humidity and site conditions. Do not dilute. Allow the primer to dry before applying subsequent materials and complete the overlay within 48 hours. Keraprime Ready is intended for absorbent substrates only and is not a waterproofing membrane or moisture-vapour barrier.
