Kerakoll has announced a significant expansion of its operations in the United Kingdom, reinforcing its long-term commitment to Northern Europe and strengthening its global production network.
The expansion includes the appointment of new regional leadership and the development of a second UK manufacturing facility. Together, these moves reflect a broader strategy focused on international growth, supply reliability, and continued investment in sustainable construction materials.
Leadership to support regional growth
Kerakoll has appointed Carl Gardner as General Manager for the UK and Regional Director across the UK, the Netherlands, and the Nordic countries. His role sits within Kerakoll’s International Business Unit and is focused on integrating operations across these regions while supporting continued commercial and technical growth.
Part of this strategy includes the ongoing alignment of the Tilemaster brands with Kerakoll, creating a more unified approach to systems, distribution, and technical support across Northern Europe.
New production facility in Lancashire
Kerakoll has also commenced development of a new production plant in Preston, Lancashire, following the acquisition of a 40,000 square metre site. This facility will complement the existing Leyland plant and is designed to support both current demand and future growth across the UK and Northern European markets.
“We are thrilled to have started the path that will lead us to have a second production plant in Great Britain. This is a step in the more general direction of strengthening our international development projects. In addition, it is a pleasure for me to welcome Carl Gardner to the company. Having identified a professional with experience and knowledge of the market of his level will allow Kerakoll to give a further boost to growth, not only on the English market but in the entire Northern Europe region.” - Kerakoll Vice President Fabio Sghedoni
Once complete, the addition will contribute to Kerakoll’s global network of manufacturing facilities, which spans multiple continents and supports a wide range of construction sectors.
