BioGel adhesives support safer, more flexible installation systems

Updated: Dec 22, 2025

Adhesives play a far bigger role than simply fixing one material to another. On complex residential and commercial projects, they directly affect installation quality, site safety, programme certainty, and long-term performance.

The BioGel range has been developed to address these realities, offering gel-based adhesives that prioritise versatility, consistency, and safer material composition without compromising performance expectations.

A shift toward safer formulations

BioGel adhesives are formulated to eliminate silica exposure, addressing a major health concern on construction sites. Select products within the range also remove Portland cement from the formulation, supporting safer handling and aligning with increasingly strict site safety and compliance requirements.

This approach allows project teams to specify adhesive systems that support worker wellbeing while still meeting demanding technical requirements.

Broad bonding capability across substrates

BioGel adhesives are designed to work across a wide range of materials and substrates commonly encountered in high-rise and commercial construction. This flexibility reduces the need for multiple adhesive types on a single project, helping simplify procurement, minimise application errors, and improve installation consistency.

For project managers and specifiers, this means fewer compromises when coordinating finishes across varied environments such as wet areas, façades, balconies, and internal spaces.

Why gel technology matters on-site

Gel-based adhesives offer improved workability and control compared to traditional formulations. This contributes to more predictable applications, reduced material waste, and cleaner finishes, particularly in high-pressure construction environments where time and accuracy matter.

BioGel is positioned as part of a broader move toward modern construction materials that balance performance, safety, and practicality.
